MED Week 2008
“The Power of Strategic Alliances in the Global Economy”
Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) was designated by a presidential proclamation in 1983 to recognize and promote the achievements of minority-owned businesses and advocates of minority businesses. It is a national initiative of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA). The event is celebrated and locally hosted by the Houston Minority Business Enterprise Center (HMBEC), which is operated by Grijalva & Allen, P.C. and partially funded by Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA).
MED Week is designed to bring together private and public sector officials, corporate and government administrators and coordinators, political leaders, and knowledgeable business leaders and entrepreneurs to share information on key business issues and create, execute, and deliver business opportunities.
In honor of this important anniversary, the conference theme is The Power of Strategic Alliances in the Global Economy. MBDA and HMBEC cordially extend you an invitation to register for the 26th MED Week Anniversary Conference, October 20-24, 2008 at www.houstonbiz.org.
