On Saturday April 28, the SAME Young Members and Community Programs group volunteered at Habitat for Humanity. We worked at the Dockal Park development project in northeast Houston. Our group worked on laying down sod for multiple houses, installing siding and finishing a roof on one of the houses. The Young Members sponsored the September General Membership Meeting on September 19th at the U of H Hilton. U of H Engineering Students were invited to join the meeting to network with engineers in the industry and to hear our speaker, Art Storey, P.E., Executive Director and County Engineer for Harris County.
