This year the Houston-Galveston Post will be volunteering by answering phone for the Houston Food Bank. We are needing 6 to 10 vounteers for this event.
Please take a few minutes to read the message below from the Houston Food Bank about this event.
"Each year, thousands of Houstonians call our Share Your Holiday’s Hotline to receive assistance during the holidays. Our organization anticipates the number of calls to be even greater this year. Twenty-five volunteers age 16 and up are needed to staff our phone bank each shift. It’s perfect for high school groups, corporations and individuals wanting to help their community."
